Poems in isolation

by | Jan 31, 2021

I’m stuck in a tunnel
And I cannot see a light.
The air is thin in here.
I breathe deeply, but my lungs don’t fill.
My eyes don’t see clearly,
My mind no longer dreams,
But focuses on the immediate,
One
Foot
In front
Of
The other.
I smile on the outside
While my insides churn like roiling waves.
Drowning
Drowning

Great poem. Sums up how many are feeling. Hoping for better times ahead.

Thanks. I think we’re getting there. Slowly.
